Our pilot and camera team has over 15 years of professional experience and thousands of flight hours per year. On set, DIGICOPTER speaks the established film language, which creates a high level of trust among all parties involved.
Martin Rinderknecht
Pilot and developer
Born in 1972 in St. Georgen in the Black Forest. Moved to Hanover in 1992 after training at the state precision engineering school. In 1995, together with Anne-Rikta Grobe, he opened RpunktDESIGN Werbeagentur GmbH, today the renowned and successful advertising agency RpunktMEDIA GmbH with 16 employees. Since 2004 Martin Rinderknecht has been developing camera helicopters, making him one of the pioneers in their commercial use. Since 2009, he has successfully accompanied more than 300 film sets.
Since 2015 he holds a flight license for his gyrocopter and produces, with the specially developed technology, high-quality aerial photography and aerial images for all genres.
Johannes Heine
Camera Operator
Born 1984 in Müllheim Baden-Württemberg, lives in Hildesheim and runs his own music video and image film production www.johannesheinefilm.com. He specializes in unseen, expressive images and is therefore predestined to work as a second camera operator in the DIGICOPTER® team. He stands for exceptional quality and efficiency. His many years of experience in the areas of motion pictures, commercials, TV feature films and image films make him an important part of the DIGICOPTER® success story.
Ben Linus Rinderknecht
FPV / jr. DOP Gimbal Operator / Drone Pilot
Ben Linus Rinderknecht ist seit über 10 Jahren im Bereich Film und Bewegtbild tätig und begleitet nationale sowie internationale Produktionen als FPV- und Gimbal Operator. Sein Fokus liegt auf dynamischen, präzise geführten Kamerabewegungen, die neue Perspektiven eröffnen und visuell eindrucksvolle Sequenzen für Kino, TV und Streaming schaffen. Durch seine langjährige Erfahrung im Umgang mit komplexen Setups und anspruchsvollen Drehsituationen verbindet er technisches Know-how mit einem ausgeprägten Gespür für Timing, Bildkomposition und Storytelling. Ob enge Innenräume, schnelle Verfolgungsszenen oder aufwendige One-Take-Shots – Ben setzt kreative Ideen effizient und auf höchstem Niveau um. Neben seiner Tätigkeit bei DIGICOPTER® ist er CEO von Tumoon.de. Dort entwickelt und realisiert er eigene Projekte und bringt unternehmerisches Denken sowie Innovationsgeist in seine Arbeit ein. Diese Kombination aus Praxis, Technikverständnis und strategischem Blick macht ihn zu einem vielseitigen und verlässlichen Partner am Set.
Nikolaj Georgiew
Camera Operator
Born in Sofia in 1966, he began his career as a commercial photographer in Hanover in 1989. Since 1998 he has been shooting music videos with great success - among others for stars like Yvonne Catterfeld, Melanie C., Peter Maffay and for DSDS or Voice of Germany contestants, whose music videos and photo productions he has also accompanied photographically. Clients such as SONY MUSIC, BMG, WARNER, PORSCHE, MERCEDES BENZ, UNIVERSAL MUSIC are among his clients. Since 2010 he runs together with Martin Rinderknecht the highly specialized aerial photography label DIGICOPTER®, On his own homepage at www.georgiew.de you can find more productions Nikolaj has successfully supervised in his career.
Digicopter considers film as something universal, as a mesh of different approaches that converge at one point.
